Finally...Some new posts!!

I know that I have been pretty lax on my posts lately, but it was definitely not due to having no blog material as I have had plenty of it! :) The last few weeks have just been so crazy busy!! I find myself rushing everywhere from one place to the next NONSTOP! Jason has been working 7 days a week 12-14 hour days so I have been playing Super Mommy these last few weeks. I just simply have had no time to blog or when I did end up having time, I much rather wanted to catch a few zzzzzz's!

There is an end in sight as Jason will be getting off of this turn around in a couple of weeks...thank goodness!! I miss my husband and the kids miss their daddy! I have been sending him pictures over the phone so that it is like he is there with us when we are on all of our little "adventures."

Yesterday was another busy day as I took the kids to another parade, got Brady's hair cut, and mowed our lawn. I also visited with my brother and his family. They were having a garage sale and I put a few things in it to try to sell. I made a whole $14!!!

Now, I need to get ready to go to my cousin's baby shower.

I am soooooooo looking forward to next weekend as the only thing we have is Anabelle's soccer game...and oh yeah...my friend's bachelorette party...shoot!!

Circus Fun!

Last Wednesday, I took the kids to the circus with Danny, Jenny, and the kids. It was very entertaining! The talent that these people have is amazing! I think I enjoyed it as much as the kids did or maybe even more! :)

Before going into the circus, the kids wanted to ride the pony ride. Anabelle was a big girl and rode one all by herself, but Brady got scared and started to cry, so I walked by his side and held on to him.

Ashton went on the elephant ride, but Anabelle and Brady didn't want anything to do with that!

When the circus ended at 9:30 pm, I saw that I had 12 missed calls, a voicemail, and a text message from Jason. He forgot that I told him that I was taking the kids to the circus and was worried sick about us wondering where we could be so late at night! Poor guy! He even made a few phone calls to my family and friends wondering if I had talked to them or if they knew where we were. He's just been working so much that he's getting a little forgetful at times! He told me next time that I need to write him a note.

Festival Fun!

Last weekend, Jenny and I took the kids to the carnival and they had tons of fun! Anabelle was not afraid of the rides as much as she was a couple of months ago at the other carnival that came to town. What a difference a couple of months make! We got the wristbands for the kids and that was from 12-4, so they went on a lot of rides and loved every minute of it!

After the carnival, we took the kids to the petting zoo.

The next day was the parade, and I took the kids to that too.

Here are some pics of our fun filled previous weekend:

Ashton, Anabelle, and Brady on the tea cup ride...Brady rode the whole ride just like that!
He was laid back! This line was the shortest, so they rode this ride the most!

Birthday Party Fun

A couple of weekends ago, our friends had their daughter Riley's birthday party. The kids had a choice to go the Harvest Days parade or to the birthday party. They, of course, picked the birthday party, and they had such a fun time.
I had a fun time too chatting with all the girls, Jenny, Kim, and Kristin. We, too, got in the "bouncy" and bounced!

Here are some pics of the birthday party...

Picture Day

A couple of weeks ago was the big "Picture Day" for Anabelle and Brady. Every year it is such a nerve racking day for me. I have to find the perfect "matching" outfits...I pray that the kids cooperate and that they don't end up with any scratches or bruises...I hope for a nice day as their pictures are always taken outside, etc. I think it is so nerve racking because the pictures are quite expensive and I just hope that they turn out good.

Well, I got the proofs back last week, and they turned out cute as ever! Today, I need to put my order together, which will take me FOREVER!!

When I got home that day, I just had to take some more pictures of their cuteness...

Life is Good

A couple of weeks ago, I finally purchased our new washer and dryer set...frontloaders baby! They were delivered about a week ago, and I just LOVE them! They are well worth the money that we spent on them! I can now wash a load of clothes without worrying about my washer coming through the wall.

One of the MANY things that I love about our new set is the delay setting on the washer! I program it before I leave for work to start the cycle in about 9-10 hours, and when I get home, the cycle is just finishing up and I can put the clothes right into the dryer!!

Here is a video of my old washing machine washing a load of clothes...(my justification for buying the new set):

Here is a pic of our new set by LG (Life really is good!!):

They run about as loud as this picture does...silent!! AAAAHHHHHH!
